April 2, 2013

This year, Letters About Literature received 49,000 entries from young readers across the country! State winners have been selected and national judging now begins.

What happens next? The state (not the national office of Letters About Literature) will then notify the teacher and the child. For further information on your state Letters About Literature competition, visit your state's website (see Contact Us).

In April, each state sponsor will send the first place winning letter on each competition level back to us at LAL Central where we will prepare the letters for national judging. National judging takes place on April 25 in the Library of Congress.
